Learning & Training
The Hive provides accessible learning and training opportunities for young people and adults with SEND, designed to build practical skills, confidence and independence
Learning through experience
We believe learning happens in lots of different ways. The Hive provides opportunities to develop practical skills, build confidence and gain experience in a supportive and inclusive environment.
Activities can help people develop independence, communication, teamwork and other skills that are useful in everyday life.
Our accessible facilities give people space to learn, practise and try new things at their own pace

THE HIVE TRAINEES DAY SERVICE
THE HIVE TRAINEES DAY SERVICE
The Hive offers a day service called 'The Hive Traineeship' offering a wide range of bespoke activities to develop social, life and employability skills, all aimed at building independence. The aim of the day service is to support people to develop the skills required to access voluntary or paid employment opportunities.
'The Hive Trainees' will explore their interests and socialise with others, with a focus on health and wellbeing.
Each 'Trainee' will be allocated a mentor who will support them, listen to their interests and design a personalised programme with them.
